It’s a small world

Wednesday, September 29. We park in front of one of the old warehouses in the Harbour of Hamburg and enter Miniatur Wunderland. Inside a miniature world is created. Lots of trains, (mountain) landscapes and many small scenes with people. The scenery is in the daytime and minutes later in the night, the lights go down and the lights in the miniature town are lit. Cars and trains drive independently around. Are fire in town is handled by the arriving fire trucks. At the airport, planes take off and leave the building. There’s a fair in town, a festival with thousands of people. At the Vatican, the Pope is speaking to the people and behind it the priests are playing soccer. So many small funny scenes. Cool place. All quite impressive. Afterwards we have a traditional German dinner, a curry wurst mit pommes.
